Pinellas County residents don’t have to wait for July 27 to start celebrating 727 Day.
Restaurants, bars, shops and local attractions celebrate the 727 area code with over 100 exclusive deals over three days. Discounts on food and drinks, special pricing on tours, reduced museum admission, staycations, spa treatments and more are available through Visit St. Pete-Clearwater’s free mobile passport.
Festivities start Sunday, July 19 with the Tampa Bay Ice Cream Festival at the St. Pete Pier. Residents can stop by the free festival at Spa Beach for a sweet treat and a chance to win one of 1,000 Tampa Bay Rays tickets for the game on July 25.
At that game against the Cleveland Guardians, attendees can receive limited-edition 727 shirts designed by local artist Clancy Riehm. Shirts can be picked up at the lower level entering the stadium.
Residents unable to attend the Rays game can still receive a shirt or a commemorative 727 art print by mail by checking into two or more participating locations using the mobile passport.
For early risers who want to get a start on the actual 727 Day, Kahwa Coffee locations throughout Pinellas County from 7:27 a.m. to 8:27 a.m. will reward locals with a free small drink of choice.
