An altercation in Port St. Lucie on Sunday turned deadly after two men were fatally shot, police said.
According to Port St. Lucie Police, officers arrived at the 1330 block of SE Rivergreen Circle after receiving calls about a shooting.
When police arrived at the scene, officers found two men suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in a driveway, and they were taken to two separate hospitals, where they died.
The men were identified as 24-year- old Carl Loubeau and 22-year-old Juliun Stokes.
During their investigation, detectives learned that several people who were socializing earlier in the day in the neighborhood, but then there was a verbal altercation that happened outside the home over the key and going into the home, and shots were fired between two people.
Police said the individuals in the incident were known to each other, and all parties involved were either detained or are cooperating with the investigation.
No arrests were made.
