CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Drivers heading east on Bermont Road should plan for some delays this week.
The right-hand eastbound lane of Bermont Road will be closed about 14 miles from U.S. 17 Monday, July 20 through Friday, July 24 for guardrail repairs, according to Charlotte County’s Public Works Department.
Villa-Fuerte Construction will be handling the repairs during that stretch.
The Public Works Department is asking drivers to stay alert and use extra caution when passing through the construction zone.
