Well, Universal Orlando‘s Islands of Adventure is down one more restaurant!
Thunder Falls Terrace
The Jurassic Park area is going through some refurbishments, including for the Jurassic Park River Adventure. Along with the ride, it seems like Thunder Falls Terrace is being permanently shut down and hopefully rethemed to something new.
Some online sources are saying Thunder Falls Terrace served its last guests on July 19th, and if you go on the website, the page no longer works, completely erasing it from the website.

This was one of our favorite Jurassic Park-themed restaurants that served rotisserie chicken and was an incredible place to relax in the air conditioning. The restaurant was located right by the Jurassic Park River Adventure, where you could watch the boats go down the final drop.

Universal has not announced anything official, but the lack of a page on the website says quite a bit. No details have been announced on what’s coming, but it feels like Islands of Adventure is going through quite a few changes.

There are construction walls up all across the area, and some even have some dinosaurs and Jurassic Park logos on them.

All of the water is currently drained as they work on the walls with tons of scaffolding.

We’ll be keeping an eye on the space to see what’s coming, but in the meantime, make sure you keep following AllEars for more.
