Crews respond to vehicle fire on I-95

HOBE SOUND, Fla. (CBS12) — A fiery 18-wheeler temporarily shut down all southbound lanes of I-95 in Hobe Sound Tuesday morning, with two lanes now open as crews clear the scene.

An 18-wheeler truck caught fire near mile marker 90 in Hobe Sound, temporarily shutting down all southbound lanes, according to Martin County Fire Rescue.

Traffic was being redirected through the shoulder of the roadway before two lanes eventually opened, according to Florida 511.

Officials are asking drivers to seek alternate routes.
