The Museum of Science and Innovation (MOSI) is hosting an immersive 360° experience featuring the poetry of Rumi. The experience will take place in MOSI’s Holloway Digital Dome Theatre, a 360° high-resolution fulldome projection where the fantastical light show will be displayed. The first night of shows, each running about 42 minutes, is already sold out. Tickets remain for the Friday, August 14 shows, which you can find here.
For poetry enthusiasts and Rumi fans, this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience one of the most renowned poets to ever live. Rumi’s verses, read aloud in Farsi with English subtitles, will guide the otherworldly visual experience. MOSI is calling it an invitation to “an unseen realm.”
The show is open to all ages, and the theatre is wheelchair accessible. The show is 42 minutes long, in addition to a short introduction. Seating is first-come, first-served, so get there before the show starts to grab your preferred seats. That said, the theatre has a 360° display and seats recline, so everyone can get an incredible view.

The experience is another example of how the museum turns science, literature and ingenuity into interactive (and educational) entertainment. For those who may have never visited the MOSI, the museum, located at 4801 E Fowler Ave, Tampa, is a “scientific playground” built around interactive exhibits that encourage fun, engaging learning. It’s one of Tampa’s most unique experiences, and for families with kids, an incredible way to introduce them to the wonder of science and knowledge.
