Surfer Blood’s slacker beach-rock soundtracked the come up for an entire generation of music fans, and many of them grew up in venues like Crowbar, too. As the famed room approaches its final show next Friday, the West Palm Beach outfit headlines one hell of a rock bill.

Brother Cephus—led by actual brothers Gabe and Seth Davis—makes a rare appearance in support of Ought-channeling indie-rock that is some of the best the Bay area has ever produced.

The show starts off heavy, too, thanks to Meatwound a Tampa hardcore staple that sounds “like Killing Joke fed through a meat grinder,” according to Decibel.

Tickets to see Surfer Blood, Brother Cephus, and Meatwound at Crowbar in Ybor City on Tuesday, July 28 are still available and start at $28.03.
