TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Tampa Police Department initiated a Purple Alert Wednesday evening as officers continued searching for a missing 18-year-old.
Jean Brooks was last seen Wednesday afternoon in the 1200 block of East Sligh Avenue, according to the police department.

Authorities said Brooks never returned home after making statements to his family and loved ones that left them “concerned for his well-being.”
Brooks was driving a white 2024 Dodge Durango with the Florida tag: XVC309. He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighs around 120 pounds.
