July 23, 2026 – The Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority Board of Directors Wednesday approved a funding agreement with the City of St. Pete Beach to continue providing trolley services. In June, the St. Pete Beach City Commission approved a $220,600 payment for fiscal year 2026. According to a PSTA document, “the amount of $220,600 is less than what it costs PSTA to operate” the service. The agency plans to renegotiate the agreement with St. Pete Beach for FY 27 and request additional funds to make up for the loss in FY 26.
