Fort Pierce man arrested following child exploitation investigation
FORT PIERCE, Fla. —
A Fort Pierce man has been arrested following an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation by the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office.

According to investigators, the case began June 29. Detectives conducted interviews and seized several electronic devices during the investigation. A forensic examination of those devices allegedly uncovered computer-generated, altered sexual depictions of a child and child sexual abuse images.
Authorities arrested Brandon Weinstein, 23, July 20 in Fort Pierce. He is charged with 17 counts of altered sexual depictions without consent and 10 counts of possession of child pornography.

The sheriff’s office said the investigation remains active. Anyone with information related to crimes involving the exploitation of children is urged to contact the St. Lucie County Sheriff’s Office or submit a tip through the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children.
