July 24, 2026 – Tampa’s City Center at Hanna Avenue received the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) 2026 Project Excellence Award. According to a prepared statement, it “is the only project in the state of Florida to earn a USGBC Local Leadership Award this year.” The program honors “projects, people and organizations” that advance “more sustainable and more resilient communities through innovative building and design.”
