CRESTVIEW, Fla. — A 38-year-old Crestview man was charged with sex crimes against a child.
Crestview Police says Eric Allen Theis faces the following:
two (2) counts of Lewd and Lascivious Molestation of a Child Under the Age of 12, and two (2) additional counts of Sexual Performance of a Child.
Police say investigators issued an arrested warrant for Theis on Wednesday.
According to police, Theis fled the Crestview area after his investigation was completed.
Theis was located using the Flock Camera System. His vehicle was spotted traveling in the area of Jacksonville.
The United States Marshalls Office assisted police in capturing Theis in Jacksonville.
He will be extradited to Okaloosa County to face his charges.
