TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Tallahassee firefighters are back home after deploying to Texas to support flood response efforts following devastating flooding across parts of Southern Texas.
Members of TFD’s FL-TF7 returned safely on Saturday morning around 12:30 a.m. The crew had their final operational period in San Antonio.

“With home only a few hours away, crews from both agencies continued the journey and arrived back in Tallahassee around 12:30 a.m.” TFD said.
During the deployment, FL-TF7 worked with task forces and teams across the country, responded to flooding, conducted assessments, and supported local communities.
The crew was there for a little over a week.
