TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Tallahassee woman whose toddler died after ingesting fentanyl is now on trial.
Cameren Evans, 36, is accused of aggravated manslaughter in the death of her three-year-old son, who was found unresponsive in January 2023.
Testimony in her trial began on Wednesday and is expected to continue on Thursday.

A jury could begin deliberating as soon as Thursday afternoon.
Evans’ alleged drug dealer is also facing charges in the child’s death.
