A suspect who barricaded himself at a home in Fort Lauderdale while two children were inside was arrested on Sunday, police said.
According to Fort Lauderdale Police, at around 5 a.m., a woman who was covered in blood ran to a neighbor’s house.
Police said the suspect then barricaded himself inside a home.
During the incident, officers used explosives to breach the front door, and the suspect was taken into custody through the back of the home.
His identity and the charges he faces have not been released.
Details on the woman who was covered in blood were also not released.
