FORT PIERCE — Star Changer Kids LLC, a Fort Pierce educational services organization serving exceptional learners, is pairing personalized tutoring with behavior support, assessments and family guidance for students of all ages and grade levels.

The company, founded in 2025 by Caryol-Lynn Rullo, offers online and in-person tutoring, digital learning and enrichment services. It is an approved Step Up For Students provider and accepts scholarship funding, including Personalized Education Program and Unique Abilities scholarships, as well as private pay.

Rullo brings nearly two decades of experience in St. Lucie County schools. She began in 2005 as a paraprofessional and later became a teacher, working with students with a wide range of exceptionalities, including in an autism division. She is certified in kindergarten through eighth-grade general education and kindergarten through 12th-grade exceptional student education. She also holds master’s degrees in educational leadership and behavior analysis.

“I adore the children,” Rullo said. “They are my sole purpose for going in and trying to help them and seeing the light bulbs go off.”

Rullo said the name Star Changer Kids reflects her own childhood, when key adults helped her believe she was capable despite difficult circumstances. That experience, she said, shaped her approach to teaching.

“I believe that you need to meet children where they are,” she said.

Star Changer Kids serves families virtually across Florida and now has a brick-and-mortar location in the Galleria building in downtown Fort Pierce. Rullo said she is gong to be offering a learning pod.

“I’ll be able to do enriching activities with them, and because of our location, we can do walking field trips,” she said. The library, Manatee Observation and Education Center, Sunrise Theatre, the courthouse and local museums are all within walking distance.

The company also helps families navigate exceptional student education services and individualized education program planning. Through contracted professionals, Star Changer Kids offers assessments for autism, ADHD and dyslexia, as well as behavior services through a board-certified behavior analyst.

Rullo said her team includes experienced educators, many with 15 or more years in classrooms, advanced degrees and personal connections to neurodivergence or disability.
