JACKSONVILLE, Texas (KLTV) — Jacksonville ISD announced the superintendent is scheduled to retire.
Jacksonville ISD released a statement that its superintendent, Brad Stewart, plans to retire this December after 30 years with the district.
“While his leadership and presence will be greatly missed, we are excited for him as he begins a well-earned retirement and enjoys more time with his family,” Jacksonville ISD said in a Facebook post this afternoon.
The board of trustees will now begin the process of selecting the district’s next superintendent.
