TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — North Florida’s wildlife is on display in the middle of Tallahassee’s local park system, where visitors can spot colorful birds, calm turtles and other native animals in a lush natural setting.
Debbie Lightsey Nature Park, on the west side of Tallahassee, offers a chance to slow down and take in the sights and sounds of nature while exploring the wild places that surround the community. The park’s natural habitat supports a variety of wildlife, giving visitors an opportunity to reconnect with the outdoors and experience animals in their environment.
