July 29, 2026 – In February 2025, a natatorium (multi-pool complex) renovation project began at the Clearwater-based Long Center. The City will reopen the facility’s pools, at 1501 N. Belcher Road, to the public Friday at 3 p.m. The $12.6 million dollar effort included the creation of a new building enclosure and roof. Additionally, updated pool mechanical equipment, new surface coating and tile and a solar power system were installed.
