The former site of Pinarama in Tampa was bought by Indraplace Tampa LLC away from Horizon Church.
TAMPA, Fla. — The former Pinarama Bowling Center in South Tampa is under new ownership after being sold for $3.2 million, according to sale documents.
Indraplace Tampa LLC recently purchased the 38,520-square-foot property at 5008 S. Dale Mabry Highway near Gandy Boulevard. The land deed was signed on July 24.
Josh Podolsky, a real estate attorney with Spencer Fane LLP, confirmed the sale via LinkedIn on Sunday.

“Every transaction has a story, but this one was especially meaningful to me. I have great memories of bowling there with my grandfather when I was in elementary school, with my father in middle and high school, and later with countless friends in bowling leagues during law school,” Podolsky wrote. “To return years later as the real estate attorney helping close my client’s acquisition made this a truly full-circle moment.”
James “Corky” Herritt and his business partners bought Pinarama in 1998. In 2022, the property was purchased by Horizon Church, a nonprofit corporation that was “formed for the purpose of becoming chartered as a local church of The Florida United Methodist church,” according to the Certificate of Authority document. The United Methodist Church presiding bishop consented to the sale.
In 2024, the property sustained major damage from hurricanes Helene and Milton before the church finished its planned renovation, sale documents say.
Google and Yelp state that the Pinarama Bowling Center is permanently closed.
Indraplace Tampa LLC registered as a limited liability company on July 15. The registered agent and manager is listed as Dave Patel, according to documents from the Florida Division of Corporations.
