Cape Coral Technical College opened a major expansion that adds five workforce training programs and names Nor-Tech Hi-Performance Boats as the school’s first Founding Industry Partner.
The expansion at the college’s campus at 360 Santa Barbara Blvd. N. includes new programs in transportation, manufacturing, and architecture and construction, with training in marine service technology, HVAC, welding, automotive repair and construction trades.
Nor-Tech committed at least $100,000 through 2030 in funding, equipment and industry support, including an initial $20,000 donation, to help students train with current marine industry technology.
The expansion also creates new dual-enrollment opportunities for high school students and additional career pathways for adult learners.
Cape Coral Technical College now offers 19 career-training programs and partners with hundreds of local employers.
