National Night Out events to take place in Northwest Florida

National Night Out is set for Tuesday, August 4. Here are events in Northwest Florida:

SANTA ROSA COUNTY

The Florida Department of Health in Santa Rosa County (DOH-Santa Rosa) invites the community to attend the National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 4, 2026.

The event will be start at 5 p.m. at Clyde L. Gracey Community Center, located at 5629 Byrom St in MIlton.

“The National Night Out event is a community building campaign that promotes police and community partnerships,” a release states. “Vendors set up inside will include free kids’ activities, public safety personnel, displays, and free school supplies. Public safety vehicles will be set up outside. Local agencies and business sponsors will provide educational materials and promotional items along with the school supplies for participants, while supplies last.”

National Night Out is a tobacco free and vape free event.

“We are excited to host the 2026 Santa Rosa National Night Out event,” said Vince Nguyen, health educator consultant. “This event provides a great opportunity for families to enhance relationships with neighbors and local law enforcement and gather needed information and resources. We hope everyone will come and enjoy the festivities.”

OKALOOSA COUNTY

The Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office and the Fort Walton Beach Police Department invite you to the National Night Out Back-to-School Bash on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at Beulah First Baptist Church located at 109 McGriff St. NE, Fort Walton Beach.

“National Night Out is all about bringing neighbors and law enforcement together to build stronger, safer communities—and this year we’re helping students head back to school with the supplies they need to succeed!” a release states.

Officials are currently accepting donations of school supplies, including:
