Lauren launched a shop at 1609 W. Snow Ave. in Hyde Park Village on Tuesday. The store stands beside Buddy Brew.

Women’s Collection, Men’s Purple Label, and Men’s and Women’s Polo Ralph Lauren products fill the racks. A ribbon-cutting ceremony welcomed shoppers on Tuesday.

Tampa’s waterfront sits just steps away. Designers drew ideas from yachts and sailboats docked at nearby marinas. A 35 ft. racing scull from the company’s private collection hangs overhead, suspended as the centerpiece.

That same racing scull with oars appeared in the original Polo Sport store, matching the brand’s athletic and preppy style. Warm cherry wood lines the walls, while white painted millwork features brass hardware throughout.

White paneling runs along the walls. Light maple wood floors stretch across the space, catching sunlight from windows on two sides. The result is an airy, coastal atmosphere that is perfect for browsing.

Area rugs, art pieces, and decorative accessories complete the look. Each Ralph Lauren shop gets designed to match its city, according to That’s So Tampa.

Shoppers can browse collections in this coastal-inspired setting. Hyde Park Village keeps pulling major retailers to the district.
