SEC Media Days wrapped up in Tampa after four days of headlines, predictions, and a look at what’s coming this fall.
For four days, Tampa was the center of the college football world, with all the stars talking.
Pete Golding, entering his first full season as head coach at the University of Mississippi, is taking over a program coming off one of its best seasons in school history.
Lane Kiffin’s name loomed large over the week in Tampa. Fully draped in purple and gold after his business decision to relocate to Baton Rouge, Kiffin is not talking about a September return to Oxford. His sights are set on something bigger.
Up in Starkville, Jeff Lebby and the Mississippi State Bulldogs are priming for a surge in the win column, fueled by the arm and legs of Kamario Taylor, the man with number 1 on his jersey.
