The Weather Prediction Center has included northern portions of the Tampa Bay area in a level 2/4 risk for flash flooding due to slow-moving showers and storms.

A stalled front, along with some upper-level support, will generate more scattered downpours and storms Saturday through Sunday across Tampa. Ample moisture and the slow-movement of storms may generate isolated rainfall totals upwards of 3″ or greater.

Skies remain mostly cloudy when dry and highs remain below average in the mid and upper 80s both Saturday and Sunday.
