Miami man accused of stealing luxury SUV, ramming deputy during Palm Beach County arrest
PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. —
A Miami man is facing multiple felony charges after investigators say he helped steal a luxury SUV and rammed a law enforcement vehicle while trying to avoid arrest in Palm Beach County.

According to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, Pavert Cutino, 30, was arrested July 29 near the Gateway Boulevard exit off I-95 in Boynton Beach. He is charged with aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, fleeing and eluding police, resisting an officer with violence, resisting an officer without violence, grand theft of a motor vehicle, burglary of an unoccupied structure and burglary of an unoccupied conveyance.
Investigators said members of the South Florida Criminal Apprehension Team were conducting surveillance on two suspected vehicle thieves, Raul J. Hernandez and Reheen L. Spencer, who were believed to be connected to multiple high-end vehicle thefts across Florida.
Authorities said Hernandez allegedly used a key fob swap scheme at a Longwood dealership to obtain the key fob for a 2023 Land Rover Range Rover. The vehicle was later reported stolen and was seen traveling south with a Nissan Altima connected to the investigation.
When deputies attempted to stop the stolen Land Rover in Palm Beach County, investigators said the driver made an abrupt lane change and intentionally accelerated into a law enforcement vehicle during the takedown attempt. The suspect then got out of the SUV and tried to run away before being stopped with a Taser and taken into custody. Authorities identified the driver as Cutino.
Investigators also stopped the Nissan Altima and detained Hernandez and Spencer without incident.
