The New York Red Bulls have added RBNY II midfielder Nate Worth and forward Mijahir Jimenez on short-term agreements ahead of the club’s MLS regular season match against Orlando City SC on Saturday night.
HARRISON, N.J. – The New York Red Bulls have added RBNY II midfielder Nate Worth and forward Mijahir Jimenez on short-term agreements ahead of the club’s MLS regular season match against Orlando City SC on Saturday night.
Worth, 19 is in his second season with Red Bulls II. He has made 29 appearances and scored two goals and tallied five assists. This season he has made 15 appearances with two goals and an assist as team captain. The midfielder was a part of the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Cup-winning side and recorded a team high three assists during the MLS NEXT Pro Playoffs run. That is tied for the second-most assists in Red Bulls II postseason history.
The 18-year-old also played with USL Championship side Tampa Bay Rowdies. Through two seasons, he made 30 appearances across all competitions. He scored his first career goal with the team in a 4-2 victory over Charleston Battery on July 28, 2024. Worth made his club debut on May 12, 2024 against Legion FC, making him the youngest midfielder to make his debut in Rowdies history at 17 years and 76 days old. Worth also played 23 matches across all competitions with FC Tulsa in the USL Championship.
Jimenez, 19, made his MLS debut against Charlotte FC on July 25 at Sports Illustrated Stadium. He is in his second season with Red Bulls II and has made 32 appearances, recording 11 goals and six assists. This season he has played 15 times, with three goals and four assists. The Panama City, Panama native made history by becoming the youngest player in Red Bulls II history to register a hat-trick in a 4-2 victory over NYCFC II on July 20, 2025.
The forward also was a pivotal part of RBNY II’s 2025 MLS NEXT Pro Cup-winning side, appearing in all four playoff matches, netting a goal in the 5-3 Eastern Conference semifinals victory. He also converted a penalty kick in the 3-1 shootout win over Colorado Rapids 2 on Nov. 8.
