Two dead, two hospitalized after crash with semi-truck in South Bay

Two people are dead following a multi-vehicle collision in western Palm Beach County.
A spokesperson for the Palm Beach County Fire Rescue told WPBF 25 News that on Saturday, Aug. 1, its personnel responded to a vehicle incident involving three cars and a semi-truck along U.S. Highway 27 in South Bay.

Fire Rescue said it transported two people to the area hospital as trauma alerts, while two other people were pronounced dead on the scene.

The spokesperson said Palm Beach County Fire Rescue’s Special Operations team was requested to clean up a fuel leak resulting from the crash.
WPBF 25 News contacted the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, the investigating agency for the crash, for additional information and is awaiting a response.
