A man is in critical condition after being shot in the torso late Thursday night in Miami, according to police.

A 30-year-old man was found wounded near Northwest Second Avenue and 12th Street, according to police. Miami Fire Rescue took the man to Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Details on what led up to the shooting have yet to be released.
