BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — television production filming in Broward County is looking for South Florida residents to appear as background actors.

Casting TaylorMade Miami announced it is handling background casting for the second season of the returning production “R.J. Decker,” which is scheduled to film in Broward County from Aug. 10 through Aug. 14.

The production is seeking performers for a wide variety of roles, including:

Fort Lauderdale police officers and bicycle officersDetectives, FBI agents and other federal agentsCrime scene unit personnel, EMTs and firefightersBank managers, tellers and customersPedestrians, onlookers and beachgoersFamilies with childrenBackground actors with vehiclesFitness center front desk employeesMale and female bodybuilders and powerlifters

The listed pay rate is $182 for 12 hours for standard background performers and $200 for 12 hours for featured performers or those with special abilities. Actors who use their vehicles during filming may receive additional compensation.

Casting TaylorMade said the casting process will move quickly and encouraged interested applicants to submit their information as soon as possible.
