The Memphis Redbirds lost 10-1 to the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (Triple-A, Miami Marlins), ending a six-game road trip on Sunday, Aug. 2, at Vystar Ballpark.
Starting pitcher Mason Molina (0-2) allowed five runs on six hits, walked two and struck out two in 1.2 innings pitched. Victor Santos and Ryan Murphy posted the only scoreless outings from Memphis pitching in the loss. Santos tossed one inning, allowed two hits, walked one and struck out one.
