August 3, 2026 – The City of Clearwater began hosting a multi-day “Back to School Backpack Giveaway” Monday. According to a prepared statement, families can collect backpacks and school supplies at the Main (100 N. Osceola Ave.), Countryside (2642 Sabal Springs Dr.), East Community (2465 Drew St.) and North Greenwood (905 N. Martin Luther King, Jr. Ave.) libraries during normal operating hours.
