A 31-year-old Florida man was reportedly accused of stalking his ex-girlfriend and then stealing her dead son’s ashes after their three-week relationship ended.

Online records from Flagler County Sheriff’s Office show Justin Fountain was arrested on Saturday. He is facing six felony charges, including the following:

Accessing an electronic device without authorityUsing tracking devices/apps without consentMaliciously threatening to injure another person Cyberstalking

WESH reported that investigators said Fountain met the woman through Facebook Dating, adding that the pair dated for only a few weeks before she broke it off.

Citing an arrest report, the media outlet noted that Fountain allegedly refused to accept the breakup and began repeatedly contacting and following the woman despite being told to stop.

“The woman said she had kicked Fountain out of the Red Roof Plus where she had been living, but he continued to show up at her workplace, the hotel, and even a restaurant where she was eating with a friend,” according to WESH.

Authorities said the woman obtained a protective injunction against Fountain, who also made repeated threats, per the outlet.

The outlet reported that authorities said Fountain stole a teddy bear containing the cremated remains of the woman’s son, who had died previously. The woman told investigators the keepsake held immense sentimental value.

“I can’t think of a more despicable person that would do that,” Flagler County Sheriff Rick Staly told WESH.

Deputies later recovered the teddy bear and returned it to the woman, per the report.

Records show Fountain’s bail was set at $61,000.
