Beachside Hospitality Group has raised $15,000 to support marine conservation efforts through donations to Clearwater Marine Aquarium and to Mote Marine Laboratory following fundraising campaigns at its Pinellas and Manatee counties restaurants.
Across Beachside Hospitality’s Clearwater restaurants, including Salty’s Island Bar & Grille, Crabby’s Dockside, and Crabby’s Pavilion, the group donated $1 from every Chubby Mermaid cupl sold, resulting in a $5,000 contribution to Clearwater Marine Aquarium. The donation supports the aquarium’s research and animal rescue programs.
A similar campaign at Beachside Hospitality’s Manatee County restaurants – Mar Vista Dockside Restaurant & Pub, Sandbar Seafood + Spirits, and Beach House Waterfront Restaurant – raised a $10,000 contribution for Mote Marine Laboratory to support Mote’s manatee rehabilitation and conservation programs.
“Our restaurants are rooted in Florida’s coastal communities, so supporting the organizations that help protect them is important to our team and guests,” said Greg Powers, CEO of Beachside Hospitality Group. “We’re grateful to everyone who participated, and we look forward to expanding these partnerships with various events each year.”
With 14 restaurants throughout Florida, Beachside Hospitality Group remains committed to supporting organizations that make a meaningful impact in the communities it serves.
Clearwater Marine Aquarium is a non-profit organization and aquarium dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of sick and injured marine animals, public education, conservation, and research.
