Last month, 25 girls ages five to 10 took part in the 13th annual Camp Sunshine, hosted by The Allison Brundick Haramis Foundation – Angels for Allison.
For 13 summers, host families have opened their hearts and homes to “spread sunshine” to neighborhood children. This year, Kinley Nelson served as head counselor for the week-long camp, held at the Nelson residence from June 8 to 12.
Proceeds from Camp Sunshine are donated directly to Angels for Allison to support its mission of assisting with funeral costs associated with the loss of a child. This year’s session donated more than $5,000.
