Deputies and fire rescue personnel responded on Wednesday morning to an area in the boundary of Redland and Richmond Heights.
MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla.
— Homicide detectives are investigating the death of a Doral Police Department veteran on Wednesday in Miami-Dade County’s Redland area, according to sources familiar with the case.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office deputies and Miami-Dade Fire Rescue personnel responded shortly after 6:20 a.m. on Wednesday to the area of Southwest 157th Avenue and 160 Street.
“Detectives can confirm that there is no foul play suspected,” Detective Daniel D. Castillo, a spokesman for MDSO, wrote in a statement.

The caravan traveled northbound on the Florida Turnpike and the Palmetto Expressway, and eastbound on the Dolphin Expressway.
