Florida Fin Fest will host a two-day event at the St. Pete Pier on Nov. 13-14. This marks the Jacksonville Beach-based festival’s first expansion into another city.
According to I Love the Burg, the event blends ocean conservation education with live music and food. Tickets are on sale now, but organizers haven’t announced which bands will perform.
The production team behind Reggae Rise Up backs Florida Fin Fest. Past lineups have featured Neil Frances, Cimafunk, Tank & The Bangas, Moon Taxi, St. Paul & The Broken Bones, and John Oates, though the St. Pete performers remain under wraps.
An Education Village will offer underwater VR experiences, touch tanks, and panel discussions. The Ocean Conservancy and OCEARCH will participate in programming.
Trinidadian cuisine and fusion tacos will be sold. Kona Big Wave will flow on tap.
Unlike the Jacksonville Beach version, this stop requires paid admission. The production avoids single-use plastics. Beverages come in 100% recyclable aluminum cans, and eco-conscious brands will occupy the festival village.
Attendees can participate in hands-on learning activities between performances. The event’s goals is to merge conservation education with entertainment.
