Sushi Masa, a Louisiana-based all-you-can-eat sushi, sashimi and hibachi restaurant, is opening its first Southwest Florida location in Cape Coral after signing a lease for the 6,723-square-foot former Texas Tony’s Rib & Brewhouse building at 738 SW Pine Island Road.

The restaurant will occupy a highly visible freestanding site along the Pine Island Road commercial corridor, one of Cape Coral’s busiest retail and dining districts.

Founded in 2010, Sushi Masa has grown to 13 locations across the South, with Florida restaurants in Pensacola, Lakeland and Tampa. The Cape Coral restaurant will be the chain’s fourth in the state.

LQ Commercial represented the landlord in the transaction, with Senior Associate Bob Pekol negotiating the lease. The opening date has not been announced.
