Amateur boxers from across the region will compete this weekend during the Freedom Fight Boxing event at the Jacksonville Commons Recreation Complex, according to Visit Jacksonville’s Facebook Page.
The event is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 8, and will feature a full day of amateur boxing matches for spectators of all ages.
Organizers say the competition is open to the public and encourages visitors to spend the day exploring Jacksonville’s restaurants, shops and attractions before or after the event.
