The Orange County Public Works team, alongside the city of Ocoee, have installed a new traffic signal in the city.
According to the announcement, the stoplight is located at the intersection of Fountains West Boulevard and West Road in Ocoee.
This project is a part of the county’s Accelerated Transportation Safety Program, which is a program focused on motorist, pedestrian and bicycle safety improvements such as roadway lighting, new sidewalks and more.
The goal is to fast-track certain safety enhancements throughout communities within the county.
