Mama Fletcher will be traveling in style to son Mark’s games this season. Michael Irvin, who has a relationship with the family and the RV company Funhouse, had a custom RV made for Linda Fletcher.
Well, maybe “RV” doesn’t do this justice. It’s more a work of art. Emblazoned in the back right with “Fetching Fletchers” in green and orange, it has a Hurricane orange door, the family social media information inscribed, and palm trees dotting a football with orange and green hurricane swirl. There’s also a map tracing the places Linda will drive to this year – Notre Dame, North Carolina, Clemson, Wake Forest and Stanford.
It has all the amenities – a sitting area, sleeping area, kitchen … no word on if they can fit a football field in it, but it sure looks big.
“This means everything,” Mark told CaneSport. “It’s such a special opportunity and my mom is going to be traveling in style to the games. It’s going to be real cool.”
Yeah, nobody’s going to be wondering who it is when mom pulls up to any stadium. It will put on some miles, too, including that opening long trip to California for the opener. It’s been reported that she’s driven 38 hours to watch Mark’s game in Glendale, Ariz. so this won’t be a big deal.
RV Company Fun Town is where Irvin got it, as he is a spokesman for the company.
“I love it!” Linda said in the driver’s seat today, hugging Irvin. “Thank you darling. Thank you so much. Oh my God, it’s so amazing.
“Change ‘The Playmaker’ to ‘The Dreammaker’!”

She added to CaneSport that “This means the world to me. this is a dream come true. … I drive, do not fly. To drive like this!”
Irvin responded to her, “Dreams to reality.”
“It’s what I call a revelatory gift – God gave me a revelation,” Irvin said.
