JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported that 11-year old Jordyn Carter has been found safe.
The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office reported an 11-year-old girl missing Friday, prompting the Florida Department of Law Enforcement to issue a Missing Child Alert.
JSO said 11-year-old Jordyn Carter was last seen leaving her home Thursday night between 6-8 p.m. on Kenmore Street. She is reportedly 4’10, weighs 90 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair.
According to police, Jordyn was last seen wearing a green Hello Kitty shirt, blue jeans and pink slides.
