A Good Samaritan was shot and killed after he tried to intervene in a fight between a man and a woman Tuesday morning. According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened near Plymouth Sorrento and West Ponkan roads in Apopka. The arrest affidavit says deputies responded after receiving reports of a man and woman fighting inside a vehicle that eventually crashed. While authorities were responding, they learned someone had been shot. (Orange County Sheriff’s Office)
