A Florida man is facing a felony charge after eCourts records state that he was found in possession of a stolen trailer in Pitt County.

Antonio Charles James of Miramar, Florida, was arrested on Aug. 12 and charged with felony possession of stolen goods or property.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is listed as the arresting agency.

A magistrate’s order states that James possessed a stolen 2020 Wabash National 53-foot dry van. Court records value the trailer at $7,000.

The court document alleges James knew or had reasonable grounds to believe the trailer had been stolen.

He received a $100,000 bond that has been posted, according to the magistrate’s order.
