Yappy Hour returns to the National Hotel Miami Beach
This National Dog Day on August 26, The National Hotel is running a dog-friendly Yappy Hour at its lobby bar, Bar1939. Visitors can grab discounted favorites including $14 cocktails, $9 glasses of wine, $6 draft beers and $12 tapas while meeting fellow dog lovers and making new four-legged friends along the way. After drinks, head out to the hotel’s outdoor oasis overlooking the 205-foot infinity-edge pool with direct access to the beach.
Kiki on the River is transforming into a canine catwalk (or shall we say dogwalk) for an elegant riverside brunch dubbed Paws & Pose: The Fashion Paw-ty on Saturday, August 29. You and your furry best friend can strut down the runway for celebrity judges to win prizes, or simply kick back and watch the competition unfold. The afternoon features a live DJ, photo ops and a live artist sketching custom portraits, plus a portion of ticket sales goes to a local dog rescue.
