A Jacksonville man is facing felony and misdemeanor charges after police say he broke into a church and caused property damage.

Aram Gregory Locke, 33, is charged with felony breaking or entering a place of worship and misdemeanor injury to real property, according to arrest warrants filed by the Jacksonville Police Department.

The warrants allege Locke broke into Cardinal Village Baptist Church, located at 2225 Indian Drive, with the intent to commit larceny. Police also allege a window was broken and blood was left on the church’s floor and walls.

Locke was arrested Sunday and was given a $10,000 secured bond. He is scheduled to appear in court Monday, Aug. 17.
