August might be halfway over, but the string of hot days and heat advisories continue on Key Biscayne. Today’s high will be around 88 degrees, with heat index values between 105 and 112 expected, according to the National Weather Service in Miami.

Expect sunny to partly cloudy skies with a stray shower or thunderstorm possible. SSE winds will be at 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight, mostly clear with a low of 81 degrees and SW winds at 10 to 15 mph.

Tuesday, mostly sunny skies and even hotter, with a high around 91 degrees. NW winds will shift to the SE at 10 to 15 mph.
