President Donald Trump endorsed Rep. Byron Donalds last February, and when that happened it was like handing Donalds a golden ticket. To be endorsed by Trump, and so early, made Donalds the focus of the Republican Party in Florida and virtually unstoppable. He’ll likely face Democrat David Jolley, who is polling far ahead of his five competitors, in November.
