Proforma’s Chief Revenue Officer, Brian Roney, Named to Tampa Bay Business Journal 40 Under 40

2026 class recognizes Tampa Bay’s standout leaders.
TAMPA, Fla.—Proforma, the largest family-owned and operated technology and business success leader in the print and promotional products industry, is proud to share that its Chief Revenue Officer, Brian Roney, has been recognized in the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s (TBBJ) 2026 40 Under 40 class. This achievement reflects Proforma’s commitment to cultivating strong leaders and creating opportunities for its people to make a lasting impact across Tampa Bay.
For the past 20 years, the TBBJ has honored professionals under 40 whose influence drives organizational growth, creates positive economic impact, and further strengthens the community. Brian joins an accomplished group of young professionals from some of the region’s most respected businesses and organizations.
“It’s an honor to be recognized alongside so many exceptional leaders who champion innovation and create meaningful change across Tampa Bay,” said Brian Roney, Chief Revenue Officer at Proforma. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a talented and inspiring community.”
As Chief Revenue Officer, Brian drives financial initiatives that strengthen Proforma’s mission to empower Distributor success. His leadership has helped position technology as a competitive advantage for the Network, particularly through his contributions to Proforma’s scalable eCommerce platform, ProStores®, which surpassed 2 million transactions earlier this year.
“Brian is always thinking about what we can build today that will make Proforma stronger tomorrow,” said Tim Nale, Chief Brand Officer at Proforma. “That perspective has shaped how we create opportunities for our Distributor Owners to build stronger, more successful businesses.”
Earlier this year, Brian was involved with the financial modeling behind Proforma’s acquisition of Safeguard from Deluxe, a publicly traded company with an enterprise value of over $2 billion.
“Brian is exactly the kind of individual the 40 Under 40 award recognizes—someone who has accomplished extraordinary things well beyond their years,” said Greg Armstrong, Chief Sales Officer at Proforma. “His ability to help navigate the financial complexities of a transaction of that scale at such an early stage in his career speaks volumes about his business acumen and potential as a future industry leader.”
Beyond business success, Brian has spearheaded several civic initiatives, including the creation of Proforma’s Proform-A-Service Day. Originally established to honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day, this yearly program provides Proforma Support Center Team Members with a paid workday to volunteer for charitable causes and community organizations of their choice.
In addition, Brian has held memberships in various local organizations over the years, including the Davis Islands Village Association (DIVA) since 2024 and the Davis Islands Civic Association (DICA) for more than a decade. A devoted husband and father of three, Brian also serves as an assistant coach for his son’s Bayshore Little League t-ball team, helping shape the next generation of Tampa.
“Brian’s impact is reflected not only in Proforma’s financial achievements but also by the positive culture he helps create and the lives he touches through service,” said Kathy Mayo, Vice President of Human Resources at Proforma. “We are very proud of his inclusion on the 40 Under 40 list and know that he will accomplish many things both personally and professionally.”
The TBBJ’s 40 Under 40 honorees will be celebrated at an awards ceremony on October 22 and will be recognized in the Business Journal’s print edition and online.
