At least one person was hurt in a crash involving multiple vehicles on the Gratigny Parkway (State Road 924) in Miami-Dade on Tuesday, officials say.
The Florida Highway Patrol responded to a vehicle crash with injuries in the westbound lanes, which were all shut down.
Miami-Dade Fire Rescue said in one of the vehicles, the driver was trapped, and firefighters had to extricate them.
One patient “will be transported to the main trauma center,” fire rescue said.
Traffic was being diverted to the Palmetto Expressway (State Road 826) northbound.
